形态特征
最大甲长（SCL）38.0厘米。背甲高隆，呈深褐色或黑色，腹甲黄色或浅色，喉盾较长。
生态习性
生活于河流、湖泊、沼泽等淡水环境。杂食性，以水生植物、果实、无脊椎动物和小型脊椎动物为食。夜行性，繁殖期在雨季产卵，每窝产卵10-20枚。
